1. What is the Everyday Christian Moms Network?
The Everyday Christian Moms Network is a Social Networking site
where Everyday Christian Moms can fellowship, learn and connect
with other moms that share a love for the Lord.
2. How do I pull widgets (like videos or music players) into My
Page?
The most obvious place to add widgets, videos, photo slideshows, or
text links is the text box. The text box supports some HTML (see
definition below) and can be easily used to add text links to sites
off your network, display a video from YouTube, add a photo
slideshow from Slide or any other widget provider! Additionally,
most text fields throughout the network, or places where you would
answer a profile question, add a comment or create a blog post,
support some HTML.
3. What is a text box? What can I put in my text box?
A text box is a box to which you can add a variety of content. It's
just another way to make a page your own! Simply click the "Edit"
button in the top right corner of the text box to get started.
Network Creators and Administrators can add or embed the following
content to text boxes:
- Text
- HTML
- Pictures
- Widgets
- JavaScript
Network members can add the following to text boxes on their
profile page. They cannot add JavaScript:
- Text
- HTML
- Pictures
- Widgets
4. Can I change the theme of My Page? Can I add my own CSS?
To change the look of this page, sign in to the network, go to your
profile page and click the "Theme" link under your profile photo.
If you do not see this link, the Network Creator has turned off
this option on your network. You can choose a theme for your page,
entirely separate from the network's theme, from the list of more
than 50 available themes. You can also edit the default theme
settings by modifying the colors and fonts in the "Now, make it
uniquely yours" section. You can even add your own custom Cascading
Style Sheets (CSS) by clicking the "Advanced" tab. If at any time
you want to return to the original network theme, simply click the
"Apply Everyday Christian Mom's theme" button in the middle of the
page.
